Do you wish you had the time to go through spaces of your home and edit & organize them? But between the demands of your job, kids, school, and everything else on your plate, staying on top of organization has slowly been falling further and further down on your to-do list? If so, this auction item is for you! A 6 hour organizing session in any area(s) of your home. Tanya will do an initial consultation ahead of time to learn about the goals for the space, research any applicable product, if necessary, and then schedule for a full organizing session based on the auction winner’s schedule. During the organizing session, all contents wil grouped by category, and then each group will be gone through and edited with the homeowner(s) to determine which items stay or are to be donated. Tanya will ask questions about how you live in that space in order to give you a truly customized home that works exactly for your needs. She will also make sure that whatever systems that are put in place, can be easily maintained by the people using it. All donations will be removed as part of the service. Born and raised in the Boston area, Tanya's friends affectionately refer to her as the "Chaos Coordinator." With 6 young children of her own, she has also been the foster mom for 12 children. Life quickly taught her the art and skill of staying organized in the midst of parenting chaos. She knows how to set up and create well organized, peaceful and functional spaces that will help the whole family thrive. Tanya has also moved 7 times in the past 10 years. which has given her a real skill for strategically packing/unpacking. When Tanya has a quiet moment, she can often be found sitting with a blanket and a hot cup of coffee (usually daydreaming about her next big organizing project).
A note from Dorcas Destiny International: Artisans of Antioch is a nations fundraiser that supports upcoming summer missions trips through the auctioning of donated goods and services from individuals in our church body. It is a generous collective effort of artisans and business owners in the Antioch community, as well as hard-working men and women looking to give their services to support summer missions.
All auction proceeds will be distributed to the participating team members going on the trips to Uganda and Maritius. Our summer missions teams greatly appreciate your participation in the auction. Happy bidding!
Auction Timing
The auction opens at 5:00pm on Saturday, February 24th 2024 and begins closing at 5:00 pm on Sunday, February 25th 2024 (EST).
Terms of Sale
1) While this bidding platform will be available for online viewing in advance, the auction will only be open for bids from between 9:00am and 5:00pm on Sunday, Feb 26th. In-person displays of auctioned items will be available for viewing before and after service on the 26th. You do not have to be physically present to bid on items and can participate remotely.
2) While we absolutely appreciate and welcome the bids of individuals outside of Antioch Raleigh, we are not able to offer shipping of physical goods. In the event that someone you know who lives out-of-town bids on an item and wins, we encourage you to coordinate the delivery of that item with them, as their local Antioch Raleigh connection. (For example, if you tell your friend from Boone about the auction and she then places the highest bid on a leather bag and wins the item, we ask that you help coordinate with her to get her the item).
3) We are not able to offer any in-person services for individuals who live out of town (ie painting a house, baby-sitting, etc).
4) When you place a bid on an online auction item, you are obligated to purchase the item if you are the highest bid at the time the item closes. When you purchase a fixed-price item, you are obligated to purchase that item.
5) If you are a winning bidder or purchase a fixed-price item, you agree to pay the full amount of your winning bid (for biddable items) or the sale price (for fixed-price items).
6) In the case of two bidders placing the same maximum bid, the bid first received will be deemed the leading bid.
7) If you are the winning bid, payment shall be made by credit and debit cards online. If you are unable to purchase via credit or debit card, you may write a check or give cash to Antioch Raleigh with the payment.
