Artisans of Antioch is a nations fundraiser that supports upcoming summer missions trips through the auctioning of donated goods and services from individuals in our church body. It is a generous collective effort of artisans and business owners in the Antioch community, as well as hard-working men and women looking to give their services to support summer missions. All auction proceeds will be distributed to the participating team members going on the trips to Uganda and Maritius. Our summer missions teams greatly appreciate your participation in the auction. Happy bidding! Auction Timing The auction opens at 5:00pm on Saturday, February 24th 2024 and begins closing at 5:00 pm on Sunday, February 25th 2024 (EST). Terms of Sale 1) While this bidding platform will be available for online viewing in advance, the auction will only be open for bids from between 9:00am and 5:00pm on Sunday, Feb 26th. In-person displays of auctioned items will be available for viewing before and after service on the 26th. You do not have to be physically present to bid on items and can participate remotely. 2) While we absolutely appreciate and welcome the bids of individuals outside of Antioch Raleigh, we are not able to offer shipping of physical goods. In the event that someone you know who lives out-of-town bids on an item and wins, we encourage you to coordinate the delivery of that item with them, as their local Antioch Raleigh connection. (For example, if you tell your friend from Boone about the auction and she then places the highest bid on a leather bag and wins the item, we ask that you help coordinate with her to get her the item). 3) We are not able to offer any in-person services for individuals who live out of town (ie painting a house, baby-sitting, etc). 4) When you place a bid on an online auction item, you are obligated to purchase the item if you are the highest bid at the time the item closes. When you purchase a fixed-price item, you are obligated to purchase that item. 5) If you are a winning bidder or purchase a fixed-price item, you agree to pay the full amount of your winning bid (for biddable items) or the sale price (for fixed-price items). 6) In the case of two bidders placing the same maximum bid, the bid first received will be deemed the leading bid. 7) If you are the winning bid, payment shall be made by credit and debit cards online. If you are unable to purchase via credit or debit card, you may write a check or give cash to Antioch Raleigh with the payment. Post Auction After you have paid for any auction items that you won, our team will contact you within the following week to coordinate the pick-up of your items and/or redemption of your service if needed. They will connect you with the artisan, business owner, or individual that donated the auction item if needed. We are not able to offer shipping of physical products.
