A colorful painting done by Tracy Nikolas. Tracy is a dedicated and talented artist with years of experience at Soul Studio, where she has honed her skills across a variety of mediums. From pottery and weaving to acrylic and watercolor painting, as well as fiber sculpture, Tracy embraces each new technique with enthusiasm and creativity. Her work reflects her vibrant personality, especially in her favorite colors, pink and purple, which often bring her pieces to life. Beyond the studio, Tracy loves spending time with her dog and friends and enjoys a good game of bowling. Art is more than a passion for her; it’s a source of happiness and self-expression, allowing her to explore her creativity and share it with those around her.

Progressive Lifestyles, Inc. is a 501 C (3) non-profit corporation based in Waterford, Michigan, which has been in operation since 1983. Our mission is to provide supportive and caring residential opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout Oakland County. We support small licensed adult foster care homes and private residences with community living supports, home help services, and private duty nursing. A primary focus of our organization is to interact with the individuals we support through the “Culture of Gentleness” model. We strive to help them feel safe and valued, while maximizing praise, limiting demands, maintaining consistent structure, and reducing stress during transitions.
